To Arnoux's credit, his entire career has been on turbo only. Whether it was the yellow teapots of the Renaults, the turbo powered Ferrari, and the turbo powered Ligier until turbos were banned for 1989. But Hunt's commentary is still gold.

For real if James Hunt was still alive and commentating on F1 and going on about how mind numbingly boring and predictable it has become, I might actually still watch it a bit just for him. I hate how safe commentary has become these days. Imagine him commentating on the Abu Dhabi 2021 farce.

Watching the 88 Monaco GP and I can feel the setup to this one-liner beginning then. Easily one of, if not the, greatest moment in sports commentary. Arnoux sucked. And Monaco exposed him more than anywhere else.
